Topshop told to take out dress 'copied' from Chloé

Last week CQ reported on Diane Von Furstenberg's legal battle with high street retailer Topshop and it seems she's not the only one getting annoyed. More than 1000 £35 copies of the £185 Chloe dungaree dress have been removed from Topshop stores across the country and they have been forced to pay £12,000 compensation and legal costs to Chloé.Chloé are keen to emphasise their determination in the battle against counterfeit items, implying that they will be applying a zero-tolerance policy to the high street.

Sir Philip Green told The Times, "We paid them £12,000 without any admission over whether it was or it wasn't [a copy]. We felt it was easier to do that and get on with the rest of our lives." The issues of fakes continues to cause an increasing problem throughout the fashion world.
