Catwalk Queen's Best Dressed 2007 List

Today Grazia revealed which celebs made their Best Dressed for 2007 list with Sienna Miller coming in a number 1. While she may be credited with reviving 'boho chic' a few years back, we haven't quite seen the same level of fashion-forwardness as seen in previous years, despite her launching Twenty8Twelve this year. Instead, it's a bevy of new fashion-savvy celebs who are quickly gaining our attention. So sit back and have a gander at which stars made our list...

Catwalk Queen's Best Dressed 2007 List - The Winners:

Eva Green
Eva has grown in leaps and bounds since scaring the wits out of us with her often witchy-like red carpet appearances during the promotion of James Bond: Casino Royale. But since making her stunning debut at Cannes Film Festival in Dior couture back in May, we've fallen in love with the raven haired beauty. Keep it coming!

Cate Blanchett
Never failing to push the fashion envelope, Cate Blanchett rarely slipped up this year except for some questionable Muu-muu styling (little did we know it was to cover up a pregnancy! A close friend of Giorgio Armani, Cate is often seen wearing pieces from the designer's collections and definitely deserves a place in our style hall of fame (if we had one!)

Kate Bosworth
I simply adore this gal and her ability to always hit the nail on the head with her designer wardrobe. I guess being mates with Karl Lagerfeld (she's often seen in Chanel) and having a model boyfriend James Rousseau, can only increase your fashion pulling power.

Kate Moss
It's all about the Kates isn't it? Since losing that horrible Pete Doherty man, Kate has leaped forward a million miles in our books. Post Doherty break-up and with the added bonus of a fringe, the supermodel is striding around London in some fantastic ensembles and hitting the party scene with some killer outfits mostly from her own range for Topshop. Keep it up Kate!

Thandie Newton
Don't we all just adore this lady? Not only is she best mates with all the designers, but she's shown her support for the industry numerous ways by getting behind the British Fashion Awards amongst other things. We wish we owned a wardrobe like hers!

Catwalk Queen's Best Dressed 2007 List - The Newcomers:

Charlotte Gainsbourg

Actress and musician Charlotte Gainsbourg has been setting off fashion fireworks particularly since her cover for French Vogue. The Times called her "effortlessly hip" and we totally agree; her style is casual and creative but always that little bit too cool, although she would disagree of course. Being the daughter of Jane Birkin and half sister of Lou Doillon, we could hardly expect anything less.

Rihanna
Her song Umbrella nearly drove me to my limits but Rihanna has been setting tongues wagging with her cutting edge style still since shooting onto the scene earlier this year. Fond of wearing dominatrix style heels and body-con wear, the tiny popstrel even had an
umbrella released under her own branded name... yes, really!

Emma Watson
With a face and style like hers it's no wonder the star of the Harry Potter films is rapidly gaining attention from the fashion industry. She has been earmarked to be the next face of Chanel, which isn't any wonder considering she wore nothing but Chanel for most of this year. Still, the young actress has proven she can hold her own amongst her peers which instantly gets her our vote!

Agyness Deyn
It's been non-stop Agy Deyn this and Agy Deyn that for much of 2007 which is why she couldn't be left off our best dressed list. Anything and everything seems to work on this gal, maybe because she's a hugely successful worldwide model, but its her own personal style - a mixture of layers, woolly jumpers, combat boots and colourful scarves, which has earned her a place on our list.

Margherita Missoni
Being the young ambassador for Missoni, her family's fashion house, Margherita Missoni has been involved in the industry her entire life but it's only been this year that she's really hit her straps. She also stars in the label's fragrance campaign and it's not difficult to understand why.

British Vogue's January 2008 issue as introduced by the editors

British Vogue just added a new clip to their collection on YouTube, with this one being one of their most revealing yet. It takes you through the halls of the Vogue office, then into a discussion between editor-in-chief, Alexandra Schulman and Vogue's Creative Director. Watch as they discuss why they chose the Eva Green cover image that they did, and listen as Pippa Holt talks about her fashion pick me up spread, then watch as Lucinda Chambers talks about how they use British models like Lily Cole, Agyness Deyn and Lily Donaldson in their January 2008 issue.

Girls Aloud at the St Trinian's première

The stars were out last night for the première of the new
St Trinian's film as Girls Aloud posed with Colin Firth, who plays the education minister charged with closing down the ailing school. Girls Aloud, who have a cameo in the film, looked gorgeous in a collection of shimmery dresses. I particularly like Sarah Harding's dress for its unusual t-shirt shape with a daring cutaway back. Starring actors Russell Brand and Rupert Everett also showed up as well as Rachel Stevens and 'What Not to Wear' duo Trinny and Susannah. See after the jump for more images.

David Beckham shows us his Armani pants

The first campaign pics of David Beckham modelling pants for Emporio Armani have been released, much to the delight of many a female office worker's desktop I'm sure. The LA Galaxy star is reported getting £20million for a three-year deal for the campaign in which he will challenge Calvin Klein's successful red waistband range fronted by Arsenal player Freddie Ljungberg. “[David is] a man with a great sense of style. There was a time when soccer players were not always considered to be fashion role models. David Beckham has helped to change that” said Armani. The Emporio Armani Underwear collection will launch in the U.S. launch early next year.

Keira Knightley looking healthier at the LA premiere of Atonement

Keira Knightley has turned out in a peach coloured Rodarte dress for the Atonement premiere in Los Angeles last week. Glowing with good heath, the actress showed off her new bangs, which is fast becoming a Hollywood trend. While the Rodarte dress still drapes a little awkwardly across her chest, Keira looks a lot healthier than she did three months ago when she showed off her rib cage and hollow eyes at the London Atonement premiere. The bangs look fantastic on her, with her porcelain features she looks almost doll like in the full-skirted dress.

Chanel pre-fall '08 show celebrity arrivals

As expected a bevy of A-listers flocked to the Chanel pre-fall '08 Maisons d'Art show last night in London. The front row consisted of a who's who in the fashion and celebrity world including Emma Watson, Natalie Imbruglia, Lily Allen, Emma Thompson, Natalia Vodianova, Claudia Schiffer, Rupert Everett, Charlotte Casiraghi and Thandie Newton. It was great to see so many celeb supporters of Karl Lagerfeld's Paris-Londres collection - the first of its kind in the UK.

Victoria's Secret fashion show 2007 - watch it here!

Unlike some of our readers, I thought I had to wait a few more days to watch the Victoria’s Secret fashion show 2007 on TV. But like a lot of other things these days, I can get now catch it on YouTube before all my friends do. And boy was it worth it - the costumes were just amazing. Watch the likes of Heidi Klum and the Spice Girls sing (yes, Heidi sings a duet with husband Seal), as well as Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrossio and Miranda Kerr who strut their stuff on the VS runway.

It's a 5 part show as YouTube has a limit on how long videos can be, so see below for the rest of the videos!

Emma Watson shows off a new look for In Style magazine

Emma Watson is pictured looking very glamourous in the latest issue of In Style.

We're a big fan of Harry Potter's Hermione at Shiny Towers, so much so we made her Woman of the Week on Dolly Mix. In the shoot Emma goes for a retro candy-coloured look and my, she looks so grown up! In Style have made a short video of the shoot where you can see the stylist picking out clothes for her while she larks about in a prom dress.

Brighton Museum's Little Black Dress exhibition

Brighton Museum launched their 'Little Black Dress' exhibition recently showcasing a stunning display of designer LBDs alongside dresses from Brighton residents which runs until 1st June 2008.

Eleanor Thompson, Curator of Costume, said “We are always embarking on something new and innovative at Brighton Museum. This project will take a fresh look at something most women hold very dear, and help us see our wardrobes in a different light. This may prove an inspirational exhibition at a time when dressing up for an evening out is fast becoming fashionable again.”

The exhibition is being curated by leading fashion designer Andrew Fionda (of the label Pearce II Fionda) and will chart the history of this iconic garment. Some of the designer gowns featured in the exhibition include Aquascutum, Barbara Hulanicki (Biba), Ben de Lisi, Betty Jackson, DAKS, English Eccentrics, Giles Deacon, Hamish Morrow, Jaeger, Jean Muir, John Galliano, Julien MacDonald, and Marios Schwab.
It looks like a must for any style mavens on the south coast, and what's more it's free entry! See below for some images of the exhibition.

Elle hearts Brits: Keira Knightley and Victoria Beckham score Jan '08 covers

It's a touch of Brit love this month from the guys at both US and UK Elle magazines. Keira Knightley graces the UK cover for the January '08 issue, while Victoria Beckham proves she has officially entered the LA sphere by landing the US cover. We've already seen the pics from Victoria's photo-shoot with US Elle, remember that Big Bird feathered thing? Keira Knightley is rocking it out on the UK cover in a Gucci leather jacket and Stella McCartney dress (not Chanel for a change!) Both covers were shot by Gilles Benisom... who do you think makes the better cover model?

Patricia Field designs shoes and clutch for Payless

Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field has designed a limited collection for Payless. The very limited collection includes the tempura platform sandal, sushi ankle boots and sake clutch bag. The range is Japanese name themed (for no obvious reason) and ticks the trend boxes for this season. The Tempura platform heel is frighteningly high but costs just $40 (about £20)! The Sushi ankle boot is also very high with back zip detail but costs just $55. Check them out now before they go!

Marc Jacobs is staying put at New York Fashion Week

Following the fall-out over his spring/summer '08 show (i.e. that 2-hour wait, that disagreement with Suzy Menkes, etc) Marc Jacobs hinted in the press that he was considering moving his show from New York to Paris or even London (woot!) Unfortunately for us, this is not to be.

Marc Jacobs will be staying put in New York for next season, although with a new time slot. His new show time will commence at 7pm (instead of 9pm... or 11pm rather) on Friday 8th February at the New York State Armory on Lexington Avenue.

Jacobs' business partner Robert Duffy, confirmed the shift in time slot telling WWD that he could not "guarantee that Marc won't be late".

However, he hoped that the earlier time would make it less inconvenient to audiences. "One thing I do know is that he will try to have the best show he can, and [to do that] he will want to finish every piece and make each one as beautiful as possible. If it comes late, it comes late.
This way, even if he's two hours late, people can still go to dinner at 9 or 9:30," he added.

Let's hope this new time better suits Ms Menkes...

World's ten most powerful blondes according to Tatler - who says blondes are dumb?

Blondes apparently have more fun, and according to Tatler, there are some powerful blondes in the world. The magazine released their most powerful list in the November 2007 issue of Tatler, and all but one were women. At the top of the list is Rupert Murdoch's daughter and television executive Elisabeth Murdoch, followed by Chelsy Davy, a daughter of Zimbabwean safari tycoon Charles Davy (and also known as Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend. They were followed by two billionaires wives Cristina Green wife of Philip Green, and Carole Bamford, the wife of Sir Anthony Bamford.

An unexpected entry came in the form of model, Lily Donaldson at number five, followed by Camilla Parker Bowles and Sienna Miller.

With the absence of politicians, movie stars (if Reese Witherspoon can command over $15 million a movie, she should be on this list too) and even Kate Moss, one does have to wonder how Tatler came up with this list.

Tatler's Ten Most Powerful Blondes

1. Elisabeth Murdoch
2. Chelsy Davy
3. Cristina Green
4. Carole Bamford
5. Lily Donaldson
6. Camilla Parker Bowles
7. Sienna Miller
8. Nick Rhodes
9. Natalia Westminster
10. Irina Abramovich

12 outfits of Christmas: The fashionista's formal office do

This second outfit goes out to all the fashionistas who have to go to formal office parties but still want to wear their fashion heart on their sleeve. I'm not suggesting fstyle mavens will jump on the purple bandwagon but Faith's purple patent and rubber heels are something special. An edgy exposed zip dress keeps the high fashion vibe going and subtle dark purple tights continue the colour theme. Topshop's oversized clutch lightens the mood and vintage earrings soften the look with a twinkle.

'Posh asked me to give her hips in outfits': Roberto Cavalli

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has revealed that Victoria Beckham asked him to "give her hips" in the outfits he designed for the Spice Girls' comeback tour.

The Fashion supremo, who designed outfits for the band's reunion tour said that the 33-year-old singer "was the most daring".

"She wanted to experiment, to surprise and be different. Her only request was that we give her hips," Cavalli told Grazia magazine.

He said that he had met each one of the Spice Girls personally to know their personality.

"I met each one on their own so I could get an idea of their personality," he said.

"I asked them about their bodies, what they wanted to show and hide, and we talked about how they had evolved in the years since they were Spice Girls," he added.

He also made them view his archives and asked what they wanted to wear.

Geri Halliwell wanted to show off her toned body while new mother Emma Bunton wanted all covered up, he revealed.

"We updated Geri's iconic Union Jack dress into a corseted Swarovski crystal-studded mini dress," he said.

Melanie C wanted to be more rock chick than sporty, he added.

Cavalli further revealed that Mel B was very assertive with the outfits.

"Melanie B, she was very strong, very assertive. Oh my, she was very hard work," he said
"I had to change her outfits twice. She wanted shiny, body-conscious clothes, and animal prints...."he added.

Vanessa Hudgens in Washington DC

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens flew to Washington DC Friday, December 08, cuddling not her boyfriend Zac Efron but a teddy bear. Not known for her fashion tastes till recently the girl is fast becoming a style icon.

And why not? The 18-year-old is on a roll. HSM 3 is reportedly being made for the silver screen so she will be a Hollywood star soon. She is in the process of getting her driving license and has been looking around for a new pad in Hollywood Hills. One of the homes that she saw was a whopping $1.6million, a lot of money for a teenager.

Vanessa arrived in Washington wearing trendy skinny hipster jeans with knee high tan leather boots, white camisole, hip length front open cardigan and moss green cashmere scarf snugly wrapped around her neck She carried a Louis Vuitton purse.

Eva Mendes keeps her boobs in

While she has no problems posing nude for a worthy cause such as PETA's campaign against the use of fur, Eva Mendes was determined Thursday, December 6, in NYC not make the day for the photogs around her by letting her boobs pop out of her strapless dress.

Eva wore a strapless Dior jacquard bustier dress. Gathered at the top, this golden Lurex frock had a lush full skirt and draped for a scarf effect at center front. She matched the dress with trendy nude high heel peeptoe pumps with platform soles. Walking without her trench coat in the chill of the evening she held on to the top of her dress as if it was about to slide off her boobs.
The 32-year-old Latino hottie joined Anne Hathaway and fiance Raffaello Follieri for a late night dinner, after having called off a scheduled appearance in the morning at a PETA event, to kick off her campaign against fur, due to illness.

Paris Hilton *is* Little Miss Christmas

And just to prove it, she wore this T-shirt while she was out Christmas shopping. Yes, our Paris is nothing if not literal.

If, like me, you've failed to get into the rampant consumerism -sorry, I mean: festive spirit - of December, then hopefully this picture will change your mind. Or at least confirm that there are other people out getting into it for you.

Because Paris Hilton - complete with skinny jeans, sunglasses and jaunty hat - left the Kitson store in Los Angeles yesterday, laden with shopping bags full of Christmas goodies. Including a toy Santa Claus. And if that doesn't make her Little Miss Christmas, then frankly, I don't know what does.

Kate Moss's boot obsession becomes addictive!

As if it wasn't bad enough that we have to see Kate wear those over-the-knee boots everyday, now Stella McCartney has got in on the act too!

Kate and Stella are shown leaving Kate's house to go for lunch together, and not only are they wearing similar tight black boots, they're oversized black coats are identical as well.

Stella teamed hers with black leggings and a black button up sweater, whilst Kate teamed hers with an oversized clutch and her favourite jeans.

Well, what else did you expect?

Kate isn't exactly famed for her varied wardrobe choices, but this boot obsession is getting beyond a joke. Here's hoping after lunch Stella takes her shoe shopping, eh?

Keira Knightley goes to premiere, looks gorgeous

It's a tough life for Keira Knightley, isn't it?

Every night she has to put on a gorgeous frock and go to another premiere for her latest film Atonement. But at least she's good at it!
Last night was the LA premiere of the new movie, and Ms Knightley pulled out all the stops.

Keira's beautiful peach dress looks incredible and reminds me of something from Swan Lake: very floaty and feminine.

I'm also a big fan of her black and grey round-toed heels (though i'm not sure i'd have put them with that dress)

Still, they gave a very girly dress a tough and slight masculine edge. And 'girly with a tough edge' is a perfect description of the lovely Kiera if ever I heard it - as a glance at the cover of this month's Interview magazine will show you!

Tara Reid looks lovely and er, shiny!

Tara Reid seems to have taken a tip from Jennifer Lopez at the L'Oréal Paris 2007 AFI Awards in Melbourne, Australia.

At the beginning of the week I was waxing lyrical about Ms Lopez's beautiful shiny eye make-up in the video for her new single Hold it, Don't drop it. And now Ms Reid has invested in some shiny eyes of her very own.

Coincidence? I think not!

Tara's version of the sparkly eyes are much more subtle and wearable than Jen's and I, for one, rather like them!

To get some metallic make up ideas of your very own check out the Metallic make-up list. After all, if two celebs have done it, it must be a trend.......

Renee Zellweger puts her best foot forward at Bee Movie premiere

Here's the moment Renee Zellweger hit the red - or rather, green astroturf - carpet for the London premiere of Bee Movie.

And in a move worthy of our very own Liz Hurley, she chose a polka dot Caroline Herrera dress that was split to the thigh - and which unfortunately got caught in a gust of wind and revealed rather more than she intentioned. Oops.

Still, wind wasn't the only weather condition to affect Renee's outfit. She also joked that the rain was making her dress as heavy as her. "It is soaking wet. I am like a sponge," she said. "My dress weighs another six stones."

Six stone (or "stones", even)?! That means Renee either weighs as much as I did when I was about 13, or she's not very good at maths and got her American to British conversion wrong. Let's hope it's the latter, eh?

Paris Hilton launches her new perfume 'Can Can' at Macy's

Yes, anything Jordan can-can do, Paris Hilton can-can do better.

While Katie Price is swanning around department stores Paris Hilton is doing the exact same thing over on the other side of the Pond.

Here she was yesterday at Macy's in Miami, meeting and greeting 'fans' as she launched her new perfume 'Can Can'.

Sadly, she refrained from wearing a frilly dress and fishnet tights for the occasion, but she did wear a full-length, cream halterneck dress with big chocolate ice-cream blobs all over it.

Or are they shadows? Who knows. Or, indeed, cares. Well, me, clearly. And hopefully you. But apart from that? Nope, I've got no idea, either.

Kate Moss arrives in New York, wears something slightly different

So here's Kate Moss's latest airport style. Granted, it's not that different from her previous airport style. But as we know, any minor Kate Moss style change must be covered, so here I am, reporting to you from the fashion front line.

And today, that fashion front line is situated in New York*. Because this is what Kate looked like as she landed at JFK airport yesterday.
The jeans and "those" boots are familiar, of course - but yes, Kate has done it again, and worn something ever-so-similar-yet-ever-so-slightly-different from something which she's already been seen out in. Namely: that grey and black striped top, and that black hoody.

Watch this space for more thrilling updates from Kate's New York Wardrobe - Coming Soon!

Nicky Hilton tries a new look

My, isn't Paris's little sister looking all grown up?!

Nicky Hilton stepped out in the wintry LA sunshine yesterday, sporting skinny blue jeans with black boots, a black V-neck top and a black-and-white jacket. Topped off, of course, by a black bag and black sunglasses. Oh, and two heart-shaped pendants.

The result: a cross between Jemima Khan, Liz Hurley and Kate Moss. And not very Nicky Hilton at all. How very strange.

Diane Kruger is a National Treasure

And to be more exact: a National Treasure in Chanel.

The never-knowingly-ugly Diane Kruger stepped out in Tokyo for the Japanese premiere of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets. And as always, she looked impossibly beautiful, yet ever so slightly quirky.

The dress she's wearing is from Chanel Couture's 2006 Fall collection; and those lovely snowflake-style motifs make for a lovely wintery touch, dontcha think? No wonder the lovely lass is beaming. Now if only that security guard fella would stop listening to his Walkman, everything would be perfect. Still, never mind. You keep smiling away, Diane!

Fergie: Fembot or Victoria Beckham lookalike?

Readers: you decide.

Emerging slightly ominously from the bushes - I won't speculate on what she was doing behind them - Fergie looked a little, erm, robot-like when she was snapped like this yesterday. Very nice and stylish and groomed, of course, in her polo neck dress and big shades. But robot-like nonetheless.

Are Fembots taking over LA? Or is this evidence of Victoria Beckham's American domination? Hmm. Let's hope it's the former, eh?

Click here to see how to dress like Fergie with a polo neck dress.

Keira Knightley looks beautiful in braces on the cover of Interview

No, she's not having an Ugly Betty moment. We're talking the kind that hold your trousers up. And the kind that can very strategically cover you up.

The December issue of Interview magazine has Keira posing seductively in black braces, white trousers and opera-length black gloves. All she needed for the perfect smoulder was a deep red pout.

Braces are back ladies. Victoria Beckham is on the cover of US ELLE in braces as well. But surprisingly she was the one with a top on. Not a problem though as the gorgeous Keira is enough to have us reconsider our lingerie. Good thing there's this handy list of stylish braces to help out.
Picture: Sam Taylor-Wood for INTERVIEW

Paris Hilton shows she's a real 'star'

At first I didn't think there was anything special about this picture.

Another shot of Paris Hilton posing and wearing a nondescript dress is hardly news-worthy.
Then I looked closer. Much closer. (Ok, so maybe not that close but i'm building up the tension.)

In a manner similar to a 4 year old girl, Paris has been playing cutting and sticking, and her shoulder is covered in silver paper stars!
See?!

At first it seems more than a little absurd, but then I thought about it.

Body art without the pain, and is removable, and adds extra shimmer to your party dress? Ms Hilton is a genius.

I'm heading over to Toys 'r' Us to add a packet of sparkly star stickers to my Stylefile as we speak.....

Sienna Miller's winter style: 'folorn chic'

Sienna Miller was snapped out in the streets of London yesterday, looking just about as happy as anyone can look when they've just come back to Britain after a holiday in Mexico. In December.

That said, she did look rather dapper - if a little Olsen Twin-slash-Michael-Jackson-like - in a swing coat, trilby, sunglasses, leggings and big cosy Ugg boots. If you to copy her folorn orphan - I mean, 'cosy winter' - style, take a look at our Fab Winter Coats List. It's guaranteed to keep any forlorn Victorian child cosy this Christmas.

Lindsay Lohan wears Olivia Newton-John's trousers

Thought the whole new wet-look-leather-trouser trend couldn't be topped? Think again!
Because as Lindsay Lohan demonstrated this weekend, it can. By shiny, skin-tight trousers that closely resemble those worn by Olivia Newton-John in the final, 'You're The One That I Want' sequence of Grease.

Whatever can we expect next? A bubble perm? Leg-warmers? A resurgence in interest in roller discos? Hopefully all of the above - and possibly Heath Ledger in matching leather. Watch this space!

Karl Lagerfeld touts Amy Winehouse as a style icon

What does Amy Winehouse have in common with a French fashion powerhouse? More than you'd think.

Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has sited Amy Winehouse as inspiration for his latest collection which he previewed in London last week. The pre-Fall 2008 collection (ah, fast fashion at its finest), titled Métiers d'Art, marched models down the runway with beehives riding high and black eyeliner thicker than ever. "She's a style icon," Lagerfeld said of the angst-ridden singer. "She is a beautiful, gifted artist. And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration." He went on to compare the beehive to film star Brigitte Bardot's bouffant in the Sixties.
"She is the new Brigitte."

Talk about fashion's highest compliment. And it makes more sense than you would think first off. Lagerfeld's Chanel has always been a bit of a rocked out version of the classic Parisian label. So mixing in a bit of Camden cool (or is it East End grunge now that she's moved?) with the elegant tweeds of Chanel isn't exactly brand new.

Amy didn't attend the
show last week which had classic style icons like Kate Moss on the guest list, but we're hoping that she'll score a bit of Chanel swag out of this. And first on the list should really be a new pair of ballet pumps.

But while you're waiting Amy, check out our
Top Ten Fabulous Flats list. Please.

For the rest of us, we'll just have to be inspired by Amy's choice of outerwear. Head to the list of
top 10 black leather jackets to score your own.

Hilary Swank at 'P.S. I Love You' world premiere

Hilary Swank made an assertive style statement in a stunning floor-length strapless black gown at the world premier of 'P.S. I Love You' at Grauman's Chinese Theater / Hollywood, CA, USA, Sunday, December 9.

The mermaid train gown had a voluminous ruffled front panel of scalloped frills with a back zip and was cleverly accented with a gold waist band.

Swank was adorned with black and golden pearl earrings, a bracelet in same hues and carried a black box clutch with gold metallic edges.

Her caramel highlights on short hair looked a perfect style to go with the dress!

In the film, directed by Richard LaGravenese, Swank plays a forlorn young widow who is encouraged to get along with her life by periodic messages delivered in surprising ways all of which end with P.S. I Love You.

The messages were meticulously planned and timed by her passionate and funny husband (Gerard Butler) before his untimely death due to illness.

Mixing comedy, romance and drama the film additionally stars Lisa Kudrow, Kathy Bates and Gina Gershon.

Victoria's Secret Model Alessandra Ambrosio at Dolce & Gabbana party

Alessandra Ambrosio attended the Dolce & Gabbana party at the Grammercy Park Hotel in New York Tuesday, December 4, night. The event was held to mark the brand's latest boutique on Madison Avenue and the launch of its new men's fragrance campaign.

The 26-year-old Brazilian supermodel looked 'angelic' in a white strapless mini dress with a silver sequined banded waist showing a lot of her well toned legs. An exquisite white knit wool jacket with fur added to her allure even if it didn't keep her very warm.

Ambrosio shares a New York City apartment with her lawyer sister Aline. She was recently spotted on a date with an unidentified male.

Conde Nast Media Group Presents 'Movies Rock 2007'

Carrie Underwood and Emmy Rossum stood out amidst the sartorial splendor on Sunday, December 2, at Kodak Theater Hollywood, CA USA, while Beyoncé Knowles disappointed with a body hugging green dress.

The star studded world premiere of 'Movies Rock 2007,' a celebration of music in film, was organized by Conde Nast Media Group, the Producers Guild of America and the Entertainment Industry Foundation to celebrate marquee moments in music and film with top stage and screen artists. The show will air December 7 on CBS.

Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood wore a stunning red color train gown, cut with a plunging V-neck and deep V-back. The slightly ruched shoulders provided a baggy bodice and a broad gold banded waist added splendor.

Her hair were gracefully piled up in a loose bun. The side bangs falling over her forehead added to the softness of her face and focused attention to her shoulder duster gold earrings.

Underwood, 24, is currently linked to Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford. However the relationship appears tenuous. According to Pagesix, Crawford spent Wednesday night at Beatrice Inn with his co-star, Leighton Meister. They two were seen locking lips.

Emmy Rossum
Golden Globe-nominated American actress and singer Emmy Rossum blushed in a pink figure hugging all-over ruched fabric cocktail dress with a crossover bodice, a sweetheart neck and double shoulder straps, one going around the neck and the other around the shoulders.

Rossum, 21, who stays in her native New York City is currently dating Geffen record producer, Justin Siegel. She believes she is of no interest to the media because she is not “sleeping around or falling down drunk” and she is determined "not to get caught dancing on tables" .

Beyoncé
Beyoncé disappointed in an emerald green body hugging fishtail-hem gown reminiscent of what she wore on American Music Awards. She once again chose to put focus on curves wearing a revealing scoopneck, cap sleeves, floor length gown with the gathered skirt for ease below the knees.

She showed off her floral pattern massive earrings which were otherwise hidden under her straight long tresses.

Suri Cruise youngest ever client of designer shoemaker Christian Louboutin

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 19-month-old daughter has had a pair of shoes specially commissioned for her tiny feet by the exclusive designer.

A source told America's OK! magazine: "They made a mould of Suri's feet and hand-made a pair of bespoke shoes for her. She is their youngest client."

Meanwhile, Tom and Katie attended the 59th annual Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany, November 29, where Tom was honored with the "courage" award.

The 45-year-old actor scooped the award for his latest movie Valkyrie, which focuses on a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944.

The Bambi judges said: "Tom Cruise is making an international public familiar with a story that has never before been the theme of a major Hollywood production - the German resistance against the Third Reich."

Tom reportedly bored the audience at the German equivalent of the Oscars with his long acceptance speech.

His rambling monologue - dubbed over in German to be broadcast on TV - was over five minutes long and halfway through the crowd prematurely clapped, but the Top Gun star stayed on stage and continued his speech.

One German viewer said: "Tom talked about how gracious and welcoming the German people had been to him while he was filming ‘Valkyrie’, and then spoke about his meagre childhood and how he moved around a lot with his mother while he was growing up. He then launched into a lengthy talk about following your dreams, or something."

Another viewer said: "When the camera panned out many of the audience looked bored and perplexed.

"When he returned to his seat, Katie smiled slightly and looked down, you could tell that she was embarrassed by how over the top he was."

Victoria Beckham set to pose nude

The Spice Girl has signed a deal to become the face of designer Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer 2008 collection and he has persuaded her to be photographed naked with the image to be used on a range of his skin cancer charity T-shirts.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Victoria loves Marc's work but she wasn't entirely comfortable with getting naked.

"Marc went all-out to persuade her. And when she heard about what a great cause it was she knew she just couldn't turn it down. The picture she and Marc have chosen is amazing - sexy but tasteful."

Victoria - who has three children, Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and two-year-old Cruz - will follow in the footsteps of Julianne Moore, Dita Von Teese and Naomi Campbell, who all stripped for Jacobs' T-shirts in 2006.

They raised £30,000 for the charity and it is hoped Victoria's raunchy effort will match that figure.

Meanwhile, Victoria is said to be worried about her looks as the Spice Girls embark on their world tour.

She is reportedly terrified she looks the oldest out of all of the girls - Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C - and is very insecure.

A source said: "Victoria has the biggest insecurities. She is worried about her skin, which is very bad again, and her hair which is falling out.

"She feels she has aged. When she saw the pictures from the press conference they did in the summer, she was upset because she thought she looked the oldest out of all of them."

The tour starts on Sunday (02 Dec 2007) in Vancouver, Canada.

Katie Holmes in a new look at 59th annual Bambi Awards

Katie Holmes impressed in a new hair do walking the red carpet with husband Tom Cruise at the 59th annual Bambi Awards ceremony in Duesseldorf, Germany, on Thursday, November 29.

Both Katie and Tom were dressed in black to complement each other. Katie impressed in a floor length tight fitting strapless black gown with gold palettes cap sleeve bolero jacket and a dramatic new bob hair cut with a fringe.

Tom stood out in a double breasted black tuxedo suite with a black tie.

Commending Tom's effort the jury for the competition said in a statement:

"Tom Cruise is making an international public familiar with a story that has never before been the theme of a major Hollywood production: the German resistance against the Third Reich."

In the film Tom plays good Nazi Colonel, Claus von Stauffenberg, a German hero, who unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate Adolf Hitler with a briefcase bomb on July 20, 1944.
Tom overcame stiff resistance to his film from the German Defense Ministry which was reluctant to allow filming for Valkyrie at the "Bendlerblock" complex in Berlin where the conspirators were executed.

The Ministry later relented following an assurance from Tom that the film will show Stauffenberg in good light.

The Bambi is presented by German publishing giant the Hubert Burda Media Group. It honors achievement in film, television and music as well as sports, fashion and social engagement.
