Paris Hilton launches her new perfume 'Can Can' at Macy's

Yes, anything Jordan can-can do, Paris Hilton can-can do better.

While Katie Price is swanning around department stores Paris Hilton is doing the exact same thing over on the other side of the Pond.

Here she was yesterday at Macy's in Miami, meeting and greeting 'fans' as she launched her new perfume 'Can Can'.

Sadly, she refrained from wearing a frilly dress and fishnet tights for the occasion, but she did wear a full-length, cream halterneck dress with big chocolate ice-cream blobs all over it.

Or are they shadows? Who knows. Or, indeed, cares. Well, me, clearly. And hopefully you. But apart from that? Nope, I've got no idea, either.

Kate Moss gets into perfume business

Putting her bitter break-up with Pete Doherty behind, Kate Moss is currently undergoing a huge transformation from a model to a business magnate, for she is all set to launch her first fragrance.
The perfume 'Kate by Kate Moss' is the result of a collaboration between Moss and perfume company Coty Inc.
"It's something I've thought of doing for a long time, but it just never felt right. It felt natural to take the next step," the Mirror quoted Moss, as telling Women's Wear Daily.
Describing the scent Kate said, "When I put it on I want to feel fresh and light and as the day goes on I want to feel sexier."
The 33-year-old style icon said that she is not simply the face of the product, but is taking on hands on role in the latest venture.
"I learned a lot about having to smell layers and picking out the scents. I don't think people generally smell a perfume and say, 'Oh, that bottom note!'"she said.
‘Kate by Kate Moss’ will be launched in Europe and Asia in September, and will reach the US next year.

Is it a real Britney Spears on the perfume ad?

Cosmetic manufacturer Elizabeth Arden has refuted claims that they have used a Britney Spears' body double for a perfume ad featuring the pop star.

In the print advertisement for Believe perfume, a svelte Spears is shown plugging her latest fragrance.

The extreme-svelte picture has triggered talks that the company has super-imposed the singer's face on the body of another model, according to the New York Post.

However, the brand has insisted that it is indeed Spears' body.

"The only person in the national print ad for Britney's Believe fragrance is Britney Spears," Contactmusic quoted the company, as saying.

Coleen McLoughlin to launch perfume line

Soccer ace Wayne Rooney’s lady love Coleen McLoughlin, will launch her own line of perfume this summer.

The 21-year-old said that she is really excited about the launch, and that she is working for a range of beauty products too.
"I’m really excited about it — and I’ll be working on a range of beauty products too," the Sun quoted her, as saying.
McLoughlin, who is the face of Georgia Asda, Nike and LG phones, added that her brand will be a fresh, citrusy scent that can be worn everyday
"My idea was for a fresh, citrusy scent. It’s a really wearable, everyday fragrance," she said.
She added that she is thinking about bottle designs, after which she will choose the name.
"I’m working on bottle designs, then I’ll choose the name," she said.
