Appearing at a press conference at Planet Hollywood, celebrity designer Andre Van Pier, whose awe inspiring haute couture has graced the cover of every major fashion magazines from Vanity Fair to Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, announced his proposal to build a towering 60-foot Michael Jackson superhero musical robot and entertainment complex in the desert sands to enhance the King of Pop's show business comeback in Las Vegas. Van Pier's collaborator in the unprecedented project is Michael C. Luckman, the New York public relations wizard and communications strategist. Luckman helped launch Gotta Have It! Collectibles, the New York company that purchased Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday Mr. President" gown worn for President John F. Kennedy for a record breaking $1.2 million dollars and worked closely in association with Sotheby's Auction House.

The celebrity designer Visionaire's concept is set to transform Las Vegas landscape into the ultimate world's key destination entertainment and Tourism Mecca where technology triumphs.

Las Vegas, best known for its spectacular neon signs advertising gambling casinos along the world famous strip, is about to take a giant leap into the future with 60-foot gigantic robots casino row, slot machines that are played like a piano and hotels with supersonic auto taxis of the future, solar domes and robot maids, advanced technology futuristic guest rooms with all the confort and luxury never seen before, revolutionary high tech decor with a complementary state of the art bath and body grooming spa resort ultra luxurious and havenly beautification products to turn back the hands of time according to Van Pier. His cuting edge emerging new highly sophisticated technologies that are the core of his creative consulting firm that hopes to turn Las Vegas into a city beyond your wildest imagination, even by Las Vegas' standards.

The giant robot proposed for Michael Jackson is not the only robot presently on Luckman Van Pier's drawing boards specifically designed to appeal to tourists in major cities of the world. The company is currently working on a proposal for a remarkable 60-foot tall Elvis Presley musical robot that would be an excellent symbol for Las Vegas, Graceland or Hawaii. The company has other proposals for a similar colossal musical robot honoring Prince and a 60-foot tall musical female robot billed as the Queen of Las Vegas non other that the Legendary Marilyn Monroe. The robotics entertainment concept will be multimedia giants designed to guard the entrance of robot themed casino hotels that will have robot maids in each room and transport guests in space capsules.

Van Pier's Planet Hollywood press conference showcased several of Michael Jackson's trademark costumes featured on Jackson's world tour and on videos in the 1980s and 1990s that will eventually be displayed at the Ultra posh high tech "Andre Van Pier American Couture Museum " complete with a state of the art digital "World Fashion library containing 1000 years of history and evolution of fashion and couture archives. The Couture Museum's slogan bearing "Art is Power" to be built in New York City.

In stark contrast to the controversial auction of Michael's family memorabilia held recently in Las Vegas, which Jackson opposed, Van Pier paid homage to the Gloved One as a one of a kind pop music legend on the world stage by displaying these iconic masterpieces. The AVP American Couture Museum is entirely a non-profit venture. Andre was invited at the last minute to be interviewed by the news media at the controversial memorabilia auction in Las Vegas, but politely declined the offer out of respect to Mr. Jackson and the designer's strong belief that American pop culture was being trampled upon.

Van Pier is hardly a stranger to the Jackson family. He created the white outfits that Janet Jackson wore in the film, "Poetic Justice," with Tupac Shakur and the jewelry and diamond lingerie worn by LaToya Jackson for the cover and inside of Playboy magazine. Van Pier has designed clothing for famous celebrities from Madonna to Mick Jagger over a distinguished career that has spanned for over Two decades and has earned him international media acclaim. The European press dubbed him "The American Versace." The World Gold Council of the United Kingdom called Van Pier "one of the hottest haute couture designers in the fashion world." Princess Diana favored his signature blazer and silk Lycra pants.

Luckman Van Pier recently has begun scouting locations in New York City for the establishment of the Andre Van Pier American Couture Museum, which will provide a fashion and art showcase for Inter-cultured fashion artists from around the globe and talented young American designers while paying homage to American fashion innovation on the world stage. "Historically Europe has always received the lion's share of the credit for haute couture," said Van Pier. "We are determined to shine the spotlight on American designers and give them all the credit they richly deserve." Van Pier said.

Van Pier was originally introduced to Michael Jackson at the legendary 25 year Motown anniversary spectacular by an MTV music producer. Andre Van Pier has had much to do with changing the face of rock music. Hired in the 1980s by MTV to create a hip new image for the station's veejays, Van Pier soon found himself in steady demand as a creative consultant for the making of literally hundreds of rock videos for such performers as the Rolling Stones, the Red Hot Chile Peppers, the Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode and My Chemical Romance and for such leading record companies as Sony Music, CBS, Capitol, RCA, Geffen, Warner Brothers, Island, and Atlantic.

Andre Van Pier has played a hands on role in the production of powerful commercials for such corporate giants as Revlon, Estee Lauder, Lancome, L' Oreal Paris, Intel Pentium, General Motors, Proctor & Gamble, Nokia, IBM, Ford, Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and Mercedez Benz.
