Are you fashion-able?

INSPIRED by the anime Paradise Kiss, which revolves around the Japanese fashion world, Animax is bringing “Fashion-Ability”, a fashion design competition for Malaysian novice designers.

If you have dreams of following in the footsteps of world-renowned Malaysian designers such as Jimmy Choo and Zang Toi, this competition may be the thing for you to showcase your flair for fashion.

Just create designs with either a butterfly or flower motif – both items that are prominent in Paradise Kiss. Then, send in your “Fashion-Ability” entries now. Deadline is July 13.

Some 20 best entries will be selected. The finalists will then get the chance to have their designs turned into actual fashion pieces which will then be paraded by models in a show that will be held on Aug 18 at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Also, from the end of this month until early July, Animax will be touring Malaysian colleges to search for models for the show.

The top prize is an Animax education grant of RM3,500, a Bausch & Lomb education sponsorship, and a Fashion Academy of Creative Technology (FACT) scholarship for a year.

Runners-up too will gain Animax education grants of a total of RM5,000 and Bausch & Lomb education sponsorships.

For information on how to submit your entries, visit www.animax-asia.com/fashion-ability/fashion.asp.
