A swimathon may seem like a word you haven't heard or used since you were in school but it might be something you want to get involved in for 2008. This year, the event is raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and they have called upon the help of amazing textiles designer Celia Birtwell to create some chic swimwear. Birtwell, who is most famous for her work with legendary '60s/'70s designer Ossie Clark, is to create a 30-piece collection of swimwear in support of the event. We can't wait to see what she designs. This year's Swimathon is fronted by Hollyoaks star Roxanne McKee (pictured). It will run from 17 - 20 April 2008, at 500 pools across the UK.
