Celebrity Watch: Chelsy Davy Shops London

While the recent Barbados holiday was intended to be a goodbye for Prince Harry and his girlfriend, the high-flying Chelsy Davy just couldn’t bear the separation and chose to jet into London for a few last moments with her beau.

The 21-year-old Miss Chelsy Davy is no stranger to royalwatchers, who know she’s the jewel in Prince Harry’s crown. In fact, Tatler magazine, the must-read monthly for English glitterati has given her the title of “the new face of Royalty”.
The couple recently spent time in a private resort in Barbados, which included jet-skiing, wake boarding, drinking, and watching cricket matches. The suite which they inhabited cost no less than 1500 pounds sterling a night and they were seen feasting on a lobster meal worth 500 pounds sterling. No frugal spenders are these. However, when one’s father is a multimillionaire in South Africa, and one’s grandmother is a world monarch, money is no object!
While the recent island holiday was intended to be a goodbye for Harry and his girlfriend, the high-flying Davy just couldn’t bear the separation and chose to jet into London for a few last moments with her beau. Incidentally, Harry’s date of departure and his exact location in Iraq are being kept under wraps to preserve his safety from military groups there. The South African heiress has been seen lunching and shopping on King’s Road in Chelsea, a posh section of the British capital. She downed quite a few big glasses of white wine and smoked many Marlborough Lights cigarettes, one of her favorite brands.
Born To Shop
Also on her agenda was a bit of therapeutic shopping to take her mind off of her boyfriend’s impending trip to the danger zone. Seen in this recent photograph taken on 24th April, Chelsy gives the stores on King’s Road a run for their money, accompanied by a friend. The voluptuous blonde wears a long-sleeve sea blue knit over low-rise denim jeans, an oversized leather belt and matching brown suede boots. She carries a shopping bag from Zara, a well-known purveyor of upscale women’s clothing. From the look on her face, it’s going to take more than just a gold card to change her sour mood.
