Kate Bosworth and her beau, James Rousseau, made it to the Great Wall of China.
As I told ya yesterday, they were expected to be at the Fendi fashion show, taking place at the Wall. It was the first-ever fashion show there, and it included a runway snaking down the mountains of the Guangou valley.
A showgoer just emailed me that when womenswear designer Karl Lagerfeld and accessories designer Silvia Fendi made their way onto the runway, the mountaintops lit up with Fendi logos.
Also attending were Thandie Newton and Zhang Ziyi. There was a chill in the air, so the women were given embroidered black shawls, and all 500 guests received Fendi heated hand packs, according to my source.
Lagerfeld was also busy during the trip taking photographs for Chinese Vogue and all 19 international editions of Elle. Some of these fashion shoots took place in Beijing’s new $500 million Olympic Stadium built for the 2008 games, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
