Cameron Diaz flaunts it all for GQ May '08 issue

Cameron Diaz shows off her bodacious bod in the latest issue of GQ magazine. Posing in a sexy one-piece cut-out swimsuit, the actress reveals in an interview with the men's mag that she's happy being single.

"I love my life, I don't have any shame in being happy," she said.

"You spend so many years in darkness with stuff eating away at you - it's okay to be happy," she added.

Although if the latest reports are correct, the 35-year-old may not be single for much longer. It is rumoured that Diaz is currently dating Scottish actor Gerard Butler after the pair were spotted on several dates around Los Angeles.

The May issue of GQ magazine is out now.

Nickelodeon's 2008 Kids' Choice Awards: Miley Cyrus, Cameron Diaz, Ashlee Simpson and America Ferrera

It's Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for 2008 and many young starlets made an appearance on the orange carpet. Miley Cyrus showed off her style in this black dress embellished with rows of silver beads. She's only 15 but she's sure showing off her stylish choices on and off the red carpet - remember that gorgeous red Valentino gown she wore to the Oscars?

Cameron Diaz looked fresh and cool in her printed mini dress and white bolero. I love that she accessorized with an orange clutch and white sandals, both colours compliment each other and her dress so well, and of course the mini dress shows off her great legs.

Now does anyone else want to reach into the photo and brush the hair out of Ashlee Simpson's face? Wearing a grey strapless dress that was rather shapeless on her slim frame, Simpson tried to create the illusion of hips with a black belt which doesn't seem to sit right at all. But I do love the Chanel cut and bright orange sandals, they just give the outfit a pop of colour missing everywhere else in her look.

America Ferrera chose to dress up a little for her red carpet walk, wearing a sand coloured dress which hugged and flared it all the right placed. Girls if you're looking for ideas for Prom, America's look could be easily copied.

Who's look did you like best?

Oscars 2008: Renee Zellweger, Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Keri Russell, Amy Adams

The Oscars in 2008 were quite a glittering affair, with simple dresses no where to be seen on the red carpet... here's our round up of trends and fabulous dresses on the red carpet...

Strapless and fabulous. I'm a big fan of strapless gowns (probably because I read somewhere that the last place you gain weight it around your shoulders and décolletage), so of course I love these dresses on the Oscar's red carpet. Renee Zellweger wore a silver Carolina Herrera gown, embellished with sparkles it really shone on the red carpet, requiring minimal jewellery.

Mum-to-be- Jessica Alba, who's reportedly in her third trimester wore a gorgeous plum coloured Marchesa dress, which matched her skin tone and hid her burgeoning belly beautifully.

Cameron Diaz made her first red carpet appearance in a while in in a pale pink Christian Dior dress - the folded fabric detail looked like intricate Japanese origami and it just shows off her slim figure so well! Keri Russell kept her dress simple in a chic little number by Nina Ricci, and another ShinyStyle favourite - Amy Adams in a emerald green Proenza Schouler gown. The green looked great against her red hair.

Ulster women look to Diaz for fashion lead

Forget Kylie and Kate Moss - Ulster women favour Cameron Diaz as the world's fashion icon.

In a new style survey, the Charlie's Angels star, who can switch from surfer chic to red carpet siren with ease, has been crowned "Most Fashionable Celebrity".

And Northern Irish women, it seems, take their lead from celebrities - choosing the vintage-style smocks worn by Nicole Ritchie and Mischa Barton for a first-time date rather than the little black dress.

When it comes to a girls' night out Northern Ireland's fashionistas have one style staple - skinny jeans.

Women in Londonderry like the rock chick look, dressing up their jeans with a glitzy top while Armagh ladies put their own twist to their favourite jeans with a pair of skyscraper heels.

Derry lasses are also less self-conscious about their figures with over half of women there preferring the bikini as beachwear. The rest of the province opted for the more conservative one piece swimsuit.

For meeting the parents, women across Northern Ireland had a surprising favourite look. The days of a safe dress and flat shoes are long gone, with local style queens stepping out in shoe boots, high waisted trousers and Pucci print tops.

The survey was commissioned by Diet Coke to mark the introduction of six limited edition design cans. The cans, which feature vibrant designs from the world of fashion, textiles and art printed on their surface, allow the buyer to " Choose The Looks They Love" from the collection.
This was the challenge set to local fashionistas in the survey.

Developed in conjunction with Caroline Baxter, the Omagh-born executive fashion editor at style bible New Woman, the survey revealed what's hot and what's not in the style stakes.

Caroline said: "Women here are definitely fashion aware and look to celebrities for guidance as to what is "fashionable". Her fashion personality is very informed and fashion led.

She said: "The first date preference of a customised vintage smock dress is definitely driven by what a female friend would choose for her. "Jeans are always popular and skinny jeans are the most trend-led option at the moment - even with the wide flared look coming through. Jeans can be dressed up in heels or down in flats. It's a youthful trendy look started by Kate Moss wearing Sass and Bide jeans a couple of years ago and has since become the uniform of both WAGS and muso's everywhere."

Trend Alert: Metallic Heels

Metallic sky high stilettos are making their way into some of Hollywood's most fashionable closets.
These shiny silver pointy-toed stilettos were all over the "pink carpet" at the 2007 MTV Movie awards earlier this month.
Cameron Diaz and Victoria Beckham were both sported the style with micro mini dresses. Victoria choose a pair of Christian Louboutins for her outfit, while Diaz opted for Sergio Rossi.
If you want the look without breaking the bank, you can get a pair of BCBGirls Katchen pumps for a fraction of the price.

Criss Angel Is Loving His 15 Minutes

Go on a few dates with a star like Cameron Diaz and everyone begins to write about you and 'care' about you. Who even cared about Criss Angel before he hooked up with Cameron Diaz anyway?
Angel was in Atlantic City last weekend enjoying every single moment of his 15 minutes as he was flirting it up blond models at the Borgata.
His estranged wife Joanne Sarantokos isn't laughing these days apparently. She "has been telling people she's pregnant," said a source, "although she may only be saying it as a threat to Criss."
Seems like Angels wife is a bit bitter that her ex has moved on and she is just trying to milk her 15-minutes as well and also trying to get some cash. Why else would she name Cameron in the divorce suit when they were seperated long time before Angel hooked up with Cameron.
It's just so interesting how publicity and money hungry some people are.

Cameron Diaz Apologizes To Peru

As we first reported on Sunday, Cameron Diaz has caught herself in a controversy and now the actress is speaking out. On Friday Cameron was spotted sporting a bag with a political slogan while sightseeing Machu Picchu in Peru's Andes on Friday.
The bag might be a “it” fashion item in some parts of the world but in Peru the slogan “Serve the People” is a big “fashion don’t”. Especially, since it evokes memories of Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong's and the memories associated with him are bloody.
In a statement emailed to the Associated Press, Cameron said:
"I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have inadvertently offended. The bag was a purchase I made as a tourist in China and I did not realize the potentially hurtful nature of the slogan printed on it.”
The sad part of this story is the actress is in Peru to participate in a Canadian television show “4 REAL” that celebrates Peru's culture. The show focuses on young community leaders around the world. Talk about a good deed gone bad.
Cameron went on in her email to state how she never meant to hurt anyone with her taste of fashion.
"I'm sorry for any people's pain and suffering and it was certainly never my intention to reopen what I now know is a painful wound in this country's history and wish for their continued healing."
What do you guys think? Was Cameron’s poor taste the cause of unnecessary drama or should she have done research before sporting an item?

From Runway to Red Carpet

Fashion forward Cameron Diaz sported this Christian Dior dress back in May at the Art Institute Gala in NYC, while John Galliano's model rocked the frock at the Christian Dior 2007 Fall Couture Collection. You tell us, WHO OWNED IT?

Cameron's Commie Fashion Faux Pas

Actress Cameron Diaz committed a big no-no in Peru this past week. While exploring the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu, Cameron was spotted with an olive messenger bag emblazoned with a red star and one of Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong's favorite slogans, "Serve the People."

It seems Peru has a little history of problems with Communist insurgencies, (the Maoist group Shining Path terrorized Peru during the '80s and '90s) so Cameron's bag was a major faux pas. "It alludes to a concept that did so much damage to Peru, that brought about so many victims," human rights activist Pablo Rojas told the

Cameron Diaz may have commited a fashion crime in Peru

The actress may have inadvertently offended Peruvians who suffered decades of violence from a Maoist guerrilla insurgency by touring here Friday with a bag emblazoned with one of Mao Zedong's favorite political slogans.

Actress Cameron Diaz appears to have committed a major fashion crime in Peru.

The voice of Princess Fiona in the animated Shrek films may have inadvertently offended Peruvians who suffered decades of violence from a Maoist guerrilla insurgency by touring here Friday with a bag emblazoned with one of Mao Zedong's favorite political slogans.

While exploring the Inca city of Machu Picchu high in Peru's Andes, Diaz wore over her shoulder an olive green messenger bag emblazoned with a red star and the words "Serve the People" printed in Chinese on the flap, perhaps Chinese Communist leader Mao's most famous political slogan.

While the bags are marketed as trendy fashion accessories in some world capitals, the phrase has particular resonance in Peru, where the Maoist Shining Path insurgency brought Peru to edge of chaos in the 1980s and early 1990s with a campaign of massacres, assassinations and bombings.

Nearly 70,000 people were killed during the insurgency.

A prominent Peruvian human rights activist said the star of "There's Something About Mary" should have been a little more aware of local sensitivities when picking her accessories.

"It alludes to a concept that did so much damage to Peru, that brought about so many victims," said Pablo Rojas about the bag's slogan. "I don't think she should have used that bag where the followers of that ideology" did so much damage.
