M.I.A, having made a name for herself Stateside with massive hit Paper Planes announced earlier this year she was going to bow out of music and has now created a range of clothing which she refers to as 'extended merch'.
The designs are heavily influenced by African prints and early '90s rave culture and reference her album artwork, all in all it's a pretty successful venture. M.I.A's distinctive look owes a fair amount to Cassette Playa's Carrie Mudane, who has is also responsible for the Klaxons' look but there's no denying the Brit singer has put her own stamp on this collection. The designs are produced in conjunction with posterboy Okley Leslie and are available from Karmaloop.
