Coleen McLoughlin voted Britain's most influential style icon

Princess of the WAGs (it's fair to assume that Victoria Beckham is the Queen) Coleen McLoughlin has been voted Britain's most influential style icon. The fiancée of Wayne Rooney even beat out Kate Moss and Sienna Miller to win the title, in a survey conducted by Look magazine. Are you surprised?

1,200 British women participated in the survey to name their favourite style icon. Kate Moss came in at second place, ahead of Sienna Miller in third place, with Victoria Beckham following in at fourth place.

"Coleen has transformed herself from Puffa-jacket schoolgirl to style icon in just a few years," said Ali Hall, editor of Look. "Women relate to her as she's more shapely than your average WAG. She doesn't mind splashing out on a designer 'it' item but mixes it with the great stuff available on the high street."

McLoughlin is due to marry her footballer beau on 12th June. Last week, it was revealed that she had a marathon 10-hour dress fitting for her bridal gown, reportedly worth £100k designed by Marchesa.

Coleen gives Victoria a run for her money in the fashion stakes

With Victoria Beckham living the American dream, the competition to fill her Christian Louboutin shoes as Britain's first lady of football seems to be a one-horse race. Coleen McLoughlin marked herself out as the frontrunner with a polished appearance at a fashion show in London.

All eyes were on Wayne Rooney's fiancée as she sashayed into the Vinyl Factory to launch the new collection of George at Asda. Taking notes from the front row as the range was unveiled, Coleen positively shimmered in a black and gold mini dress, teamed with flatteringly stacked heels. Echoing chameleon-like Posh, Coleen had also changed her 'do for the occasion, with her some of her long tresses woven into elegant braids on top.

And as the outfit she was wearing comes from the retailer's own autumn/winter 2007/8 line, the 21-year-old fashionista's admirers will find it easy to copy her style. "It's nice for the public to see someone in the public eye wearing clothes that most of them can afford," explained Coleen.

Being a diehard WAG she couldn't leave home without at least one bit of expensive bling, though. On her finger was the ten-carat diamond ring Wayne bought his pretty fiancée to mark her coming of age after she'd spotted Victoria wearing a similar piece of jewellery. And, the price tag for the Chopard sparkler? A mere £200,000.

Coleen McLoughlin to launch perfume line

Soccer ace Wayne Rooney’s lady love Coleen McLoughlin, will launch her own line of perfume this summer.

The 21-year-old said that she is really excited about the launch, and that she is working for a range of beauty products too.
"I’m really excited about it — and I’ll be working on a range of beauty products too," the Sun quoted her, as saying.
McLoughlin, who is the face of Georgia Asda, Nike and LG phones, added that her brand will be a fresh, citrusy scent that can be worn everyday
"My idea was for a fresh, citrusy scent. It’s a really wearable, everyday fragrance," she said.
She added that she is thinking about bottle designs, after which she will choose the name.
"I’m working on bottle designs, then I’ll choose the name," she said.
