Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista tussle for DSquared S/S '09 campaign

Wowsers! Get a load of this awesome team-up. The supermodel gloves are out with Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista reuniting for DSquared's latest spring/summer '09 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel. Now it's just a case of figuring out what they're fighting about. Perhaps it's over who is the biggest diva, or who scored the better campaigns and covers last year? Whatever it's about, I'm jazzed to see them back in the same frame again. More please!

Madonna for Louis Vuitton spring/summer '09 campaign

Get a load of this! Madonna's new campaign for Louis Vuitton has been revealed and its a cracker. Check out those legs, those shoes, that bag *drool*. LV's creative director, Marc Jacobs, admitted that the choice to use Madge was a light bulb moment.

"I just blurted out, 'I think we should do Madonna,"' he said, adding that he'd attended her Paris concert the night before. "I was totally just blown away by it, and moved by her performance, by what she had to say, and her energy."

Following that light bulb moment, Marc tapped out a Blackberry message to Madonna, who replied with: "I'd love to."

And who wouldn't? The outcome is six French-inspired, sepia-toned photographs by Steven Meisel, which were taken of the Queen of Pop inside L.A.'s trendy Café Figaro. Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's director of communications, denied rumours that Madge pocketed a whopping $10 million for the gig.

"It's very far away from that," he admitted.

If, like me, you're wondering what the turn-around was on these photos, then it look less than a day for shooting to wrap, with the pictures taken just last week. Speedy.

"It was her idea to do the fishnets," Jacobs revealed. The campaign looks set to drop in February, in tandem with LV's "core values" campaign, which
currently stars Sean Connery. I sure do look forward to those Miu Miu shots of Katie Holmes now.

Katherine Jenkins opens Harrods sale amid boos from anti-fur campaigners

Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins opened the Harrods annual January sale yesterday to boos and chants of "Shame on Katherine" from anti-fur campaigners outside the store. The 28-year-old vegetarian, wearing a strapless black and white lace dress, took on the duty a year after Leona Lewis turned down the same role (and £1 million paycheck) - apparently due to Harrods' policy of selling fur.

She was presented with a pair of diamond-encrusted Christian Louboutins by Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed for her troubles (lucky girl!) and said of the protests happening outside: "Personally I do not eat meat or wear fur, but people are entitled to their opinions. I was very excited to join the sales - I am a girl's girl, so obviously this is my idea of fun." What do you think of her decision?

Details of Agent Provocateur's next two campaigns revealed

Agent Provocateur keeps pumping out those ad campaigns. The lingerie giant has revealed details of its next two campaigns via WWD. The latest installment titled, "Pan and the Vestry of Virgins," is the third in the series and is due for release in January (visuals are not available yet). It follows "Season of the Witch" and "Pirate Provcateur" installments (above) which stars Helena Christensen, Alice Dellal, and brand founder, Joe Corre.
Models in the forthcoming campaign will portray AP maidens under siege and Pan, the Greek God of fertility.

"Again, with Pan we were looking at various ideas. Pan is a very pagan motif and it's all about rites of spring, and it fitted very well with our spring collection. There's a certain wildness about it, like Pirates. But it's light, angelic and mythical with a certain softness and conveys the pleasures of the pagan ritual," said Corre.

"Pirates is very popular with us because they are outlaws and in a way, Agent Provocateur is a brand which was started independently and carved its own path through the fashion industry," he said. "In a sense, it doesn't necessarily obey the rules of retail marketing and appeals to the inner outlaw of people. It looks like such a romp."

A romp is certainly right. Take for example the above picture. The brand is also on the verge of launching more boutiques and two in-store shops in the U.S. at Bloomingdales.

"When we started the Agent Provocateur brand in 1994 in the U.K., there was a strong recession," he said. "It's not like we're going off like gang busters, opening up stores all over the place. Stores take 18 months to three years to really establish themselves. That's across the board in retail. We like to establish a business with customers who make a purposeful trip to our stores."

The fourth installment in the campaign series is titled "Picnic Debauch". It is slated for late spring 2009.

Pamela Anderson dishes on *that* Vivienne Westwood campaign

Pamela Anderson may have decided to skip the need for trousers at this week's prestigious Art Basel show in Miami, but it looks like she is still on track to front Vivienne Westwood's next campaign.

The former Baywatch star has spilled to Ocean Drive magazine about her role in Westwood's forthcoming spring/summer '09 ads.

"I just finished working with Vivienne Westwood, shooting next summer's campaign for her fashion line," she said. "Vivienne and her husband, Andreas, came and stayed at my house for two days while we did the shoot, and it was fantastic, we had so much fun."

I wonder if this time Pammy will be wearing more than just her pants...

Behind-the-scenes Victoria's Secret Holiday '08 commercial, Paris

Here is just the thing to get you into the festive mood (or your boyfriend, at least). The Victoria's Secret angels are on location outside of Paris at chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte to shoot the lingerie brand's holiday 2008 commercial. Based on the idea of a secret, supermodels including Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr, run through the beautiful chateau in flouncy red dresses and bras to pass on a special gift. How did they know that is exactly how I plan to spend my Christmas?

Watch the full commercial below...

Burberry blooms for spring/summer '08 campaign - starring Lily Donaldson, Eden Clarke & co.

Burberry has long been about doing things in big electic groups, consisting of a mixture of models, musicians, and other various It-kids.This spring/summer looks no different, with Christopher Bailey luring his cast to Petersham Nurseries, outside of London, for a greenhouse-style shoot. As far as who stars, well it appears that the whispers were correct for once. There is no sign of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley this time, after she was reportedly dropped from the label due to that drug scandal a few months back. Oops!

As speculated, Rosie seems to have been replaced by Eden Clark and actor Alex Pettyfer, amongst others. Joining them are models Lily Donaldson, Alexina Graham and Richard Wyndham, photographer Emily Hope, and musicians George Craig and Sam Beeton. The bunch were shot by Mario Testino, sporting Burberry's strong-selling outerwear. Although, keep your eyes peeled for Burberry's The Gardener bag next season.

"I wanted the mood to be gentle, relaxed, romantic and about a quiet, beautiful sense of luxury," Bailey told WWD. "This campaign highlights the spirit of our wonderfully crumpled classics."

Avon calls Patrick Dempsey to front new fragrance campaign

Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey appears to be on a winning ticket at the moment. While his Versace ads begin to circulate (pictured left), he has already signed his next campaign, this time with Avon.

Dempsey, who plays the dishy Dr Shepherd (a.k.a. Dr McDreamy), has agreed to front Avon's newest fragrance for men.

Details, such as how much moolah he will receive from the multi-year contract, are being kept secret, but sources are estimating between $5 million to $6 million per year. Not bad!

Another interesting fact is that Dempsey's wife, make up artist Jillian Dempsey, also happens to be Avon's global creative colour director. And they say that sleeping with the boss gets you nowhere...For more from the lad's side of fashion, check out Brandish.

Kirsten Dunst for Miu Miu S/S '08 campaign

Here it is... the official campaign images of
Kirsten Dunst for Miu Miu spring/summer '08. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in LA last November, the actress is positioned against a bold backdrop and sporting some evil facial expressions. She almost reminds me of when she played Claudia in Interview with the Vampire when she was just a wee thing. What do you think? Does Kirsten pull this campaign off?

Hayden Panettiere stars in 'Got Milk' campaign

Teenage actress Hayden Panettiere's fame is clearly on the rise, as the Heroes star has been accorded one of the celebrity world's highest accolades - as the latest milk-mustachioed face of the "Got Milk?" advertising campaign in the US.

The actress - who plays Claire Bennet in the hit series which is being shown on BBC2 - will appear in new print ads next month, which were shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Panettiere, who celebrated her 18th birthday last week, wears a red dress and the famous milk moustache in the commercials, which show her holding an exploding glass of milk, accompanied by the slogan: "You don't have to be a hero to feel invincible. That's why I drink milk."

She joins an elite list of celebrities including Britney Spears, David Beckham, and Beyonce who have fronted the campaign to encourage youngsters to drink three glasses of low-fat or fat-free milk a day.

The actress joked to US chatshow host David Letterman on his Late Show recently about reaching her milestone birthday: "I don't think much changes when you're 18 - maybe the way people treat you.

"But I think the only things I can do is buy cigarettes, porn and, if I get in trouble with the law, I'm kind of screwed."

As well as having a party on the beach, the young starlet also registered to vote.
