When was the last time you saw Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover of a fashion magazine? Whether or not you classify this as a comeback of sorts, it is fantastic to see her land the September cover of W magazine in their biggest issue ever. September issues are usually the month that is usually the style issue of every fashion magazine, as they are reserved for predicting the upcoming Fall trends. The very tanned Gwyneth was photographed by Steven Klein, and shows Mrs Chris Martin in a different light. A Moroccan goddess with a dark tan, and a very 1970s style sleek look.
Inside the magazine she talks about the usual things celebrities do in magazines; children, recent tabloid fodder (ie. Her fractured knee), why she isn’t working as much… the usual. They even asked her about being accused last December of making a statement favouring the British over the American’s (in a Portuguese newspaper). "I went nuts over that. I love America, and I'm an American through and through,” Gwyneth told W. “But the conservative media won't let it go.... People love to give you a moniker and then, you know, they've designed this hole for you that you have to fit in."
