What can't we say about Beyonce Knowles that hasn't been said already? She's beautiful, talented, a ten-time Grammy winner, and certainly knows how to shake the red carpet at every premiere. The model, actress, singer, producer, and clothing designer can't seem to settle on one career, so she's got nearly a dozen.
This former Destiny's Child lead singer broke away from the group and the image to craft her own style, setting trends along the way. Her second solo album, entitled, B'day was released on September 4th, 2006. One of the singles from that album, a song called "Beautiful Liar", made a historic leap on the Billboard charts in seven days, from ninety-four to three on March 29, 2007. And not to be outshone in the glamour department, Knowles placed at number one on AskMen.com's list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2007, compiled from 8.5 million male votes.

Somehow we don't think those guys were referring to this picture, taken recently at Melbourne airport in Australia. Beyonce is currently on a world tour, promoting her newest album, which was released as a Deluxe Edition on April 3rd. It makes us wonder, why the mismatched outfit? Is tour anxiety getting to her? Is it the lack of downtime, from starring in "Dreamgirls" to singing on stage? Or just a case of too much sun Down Under. Now, the face is eternally gorgeous, the hair straightened to perfection. But the look stops there. The dress has so many loud colors on it, it's just a sartorial cry for help. And the pumps, while cute with another outfit, don't complement an already badly designed frock. We've seen Beyonce carry off gowns that noone else would dare. Nobody has the curves or back that she has. But there's always that one outfit, the one that is so awful no body can possibly save it. No amount of hairspray, makeup, or accessories can take away from its pure lack of charm. This is that outfit. It's just the kind of thing that would make a fashionista run for her therapist's couch, in hopes of forgetting the image burned indelibly in her head. The ode to purple and pink reminds us of the 70's, not sure if that was the idea. And the leopard-print bag so boldly clashes with her dress we think she was in a big rush. Not even a Fashion Don't, it's a Style 911.
